Read on for an OGX Quenching Coconut Curls Hair Butter Review. A product to consider if you have dry, naturally curly hair.
How can you tell if a product junkie really likes a product or if they are just trying to promote it?
By whether or not they manage to finish all of it!
I am a product junkie. Yes, I know I have a problem, but as it stands I am not looking to fix it anytime soon. Take a look at what I have going on beneath my bathroom sink:
It may be good to add that there are at least a half a dozen bottles missing from the picture, and another dozen that are on my “to-buy” list.
Since finishing my natural hair products feels like such a rare occurrence, I have decided to post “Empty Alerts”, where I will share snapshot reviews, and whether or not I plan to buy again.
**I’m only planning on doing one “Empty Alert” per product, so I can promise you won’t see an update every single time I run out of my Trader Joe’s Coconut Oil.

So here it is…
OGX Quenching Coconut Curls Hair Butter Review: (Man, that’s a mouthful!)
What is it the Coconut Curls Hair Butter?
Part of Ogx’s Quenching Coconut Curls Line (I have the whole set), it is a hair butter designed to be used as a Leave-in or Rinse out Conditioner. It is meant to hydrate dry hair, boost curls, and ease friziness.
How do I use it the product?
I use it as the Leave-in in my LOC method. After spritzing my hair with water, I start off with the Hair Butter to remove any last bit of tangles, then add the oil and cream of my choice afterwards. I have sometimes used it as a midweek refresher to re-moisturize my curls.
The Good and the Bad?
Does a good job at softening my hair, it can be found in the drugstore, and is relatively cheap. Makes for a good option when I’ve run out of my staple Leave-in conditioners.
However, there isn’t a lot of it. I am heavy handed and have a ton of hair, so it doesn’t last long.
Would I buy it again?
Although I don’t see myself rushing out to replace this hair butter this exact second, it is a great, easily accessible option for when I’m in a bind. I definitely see myself grabbing this again in the future.
So there we have it! What did you think of the OGX Quenching Coconut Curls Hair Butter Review? Let’s see which of my natural hair products wins out for next time!
Have you tried anything by OGX on your natural hair before? I also love their Argan Oil of Morocco.
